The red hot chilli shed came about after a bonkers idea that I had the ability to grow vegetables.
Over the past few years I have attempted to grow all sorts of stuff but managed to kill everything, be it fruit, herbs or vegetables.
I realized the issue was me, I was either over watering, under watering or planting at the wrong time, To be honest I am just not a very good gardener.
Once I realized I was the issue, I decided to take me out of the equation as much as possible, I decided to do a bit of research and use the little tinkering knowledge I have, to turn my tatty old garden shed into a fully automated all year round Chilli grow house.
All I want to do is plant the Chilli seeds and then reap the rewards.
I took a look online for what chillis to grow, I didn’t want to plant plain old jalapeño at 2,500-8,000 (Scoville Heat Units) or the hotter habanero at 100,000-350,000 SHU, I wanted a challange, and its called The Red Hot Chilli Shed for a reason.
I decided to grow the hottest Chillis I could get seeds for, In the end I chose The Trinidad scorpion Butch T at 500,000 – 1,463,700 SHU, The Naga Viper at 1,250,000-1,350,000, and The Carolina Reaper at a whopping 1,400,000-2,200,000 SHU.
